A great week at vacation bible school
WE GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OH MY! We finally got Wii Fit. Robbie saved his money and we have been looking for months with no luck until today! My friend Debra called and said that Target had 4 and would only let her buy 1. I flew to Target, ran into the store and down the aisle to the electronics department. I was so out of breath, dropped my phone and could hardly focus! Wow what we do for our kids!
Thanks Debra for finding us the Wii Fit! It really is a lot of fun and boy are we already feeling fit.(HA HA)

A Day at the Indy Zoo
Robbie was our faithful map reader who made sure we never went the wrong way!
The animals were awesome and we were able to get so close.

First part of our vacation--Indy part 1
As we headed to Ohio for our vacation, we stopped for an overnight visit with Marty's cousins Ed and Dee. They were such wonderful hosts. We really enjoyed catching up and getting to know each other. Dee fed us incredible meals and I loved the peacefulness of her beautiful back yard. Dee also is an amazing artist and I loved looking at some of her work.
When we arrived Dee presented the kids with a piece of paper with pictures of items that she drew. She told the kids that they were going on a scavenger hunt and would need to find these items in her back yard.
They loved searching for these treasures. Some were found quickly while others took quite some time to find. They loved this and are still talking about how much fun they had! Thanks Dee!
Robbie cracked me up! He had the younger kids quiet by saying that they could only talk if they spotted a squirrel!
Dee fixed a wonderful meal and we enjoyed visiting with their children and grandchildren.

Beginning of a Blog
I became interested in blogging after visiting family in Indiana. It is a great way to keep in touch and learn a little more about each other. After reading their blogs I decided to give this a try. Should be fun!
